Office Helpers
Answer business calls, assist with simple office tasks in the Center as needed. This is a four-hour, once-a-week involvement. You will receive four hours of training, plus mentoring, to prepare you for this volunteer ministry position.
Client Lay Counselors
All counselors are selected by the Directors from the Office Helper Team for this 4 hour, weekly involvement. Counselors are provided training to equip them to minister to women, men, and parents who are dealing with an unplanned pregnancy situation.
Abstinence Speaker's Team
Present Amnion's abstinence-until-marriage message: Middle School Presentation entitled "Worth the Wait!" or the High School Presentation, "I'm Worth Waiting For!", to Dakota County students. Training provided to abstinence speakers.
Board Members
Serve as spiritual overseers of Amnion's ministry vision and prayerfully seek God's direction for the future of the ministry. Board committees include: Personnel, I.T., Center Operations/Facilities, Church Relations, Fundraising, Strategic Planning, Pastor.
Church Representatives
Help make your church aware of Amnion's ministry. Church Reps are provided with written announcements to put in their church bulletin or newsletter. Church Reps are particularly helpful with advertising and encouraging participation at Amnion's Banquet and "Walk For Life" events within their church.
Walk For Life Fundraising Committee
Volunteers are needed for all phases of this event including: planning, advertising, recruiting walkers, and day-of-event tasks.
Banquet or Silent Auction Fundraising Committee
Volunteers are needed for all phases of this event including: advertising, contacting individuals and businesses for auction donations, and helping with day-of-events.
Bottles For Life
Baby Bottle Coordinator is needed to distribute and collect baby bottles once a year in their church.
