Frequently Asked Questions

"Do I have to collect the money from my sponsors?"
No... You do not have to collect any money from your sponsors. You simply fill out the sponsor form with all of the information required. After you give the form to Amnion we will collect the money from the sponsors through the mail.

"If a sponsor wants to give me the money what should I do?"
Feel free to collect checks made out to Amnion CPC. Mark PAID next to their sponsor box on your form. Turn in the checks and cash collected with your sponsor form to Amnion CPC.

"How long is the Walk?"
Amnion's walks is only 2 miles! Sponsors will pledge one generous lump sum, rather than a per mile basis.
All contributions are tax-deductible.

"How do I ask people to sponsor me?"
Simply ask everyone you know... "Will you sponsor me to help moms facing crisis pregnancies to get free support help & choose life for their babies?"

Nine out of ten people will say YES!
Co-workers ~ neighbors ~ church friends ~ family

"How else can I find sponsors?"

  • Email your friends/family/co-workers! (Write all pledges on your sponsor form.)
  • Announce in Sunday School class & small groups that you need sponsors.
  • Mail Out of Town Sponsor Letters to friends and family. (Amnion will provide!)

"How much money do I need to raise?"
The sky is the limit!! When you reach $150 in pledges (an average of 12 people), you get a FREE Walk T-shirt. When you reach $300 you get a FREE backpack (12x17 with 3 zipper sections) AND a FREE Walk T-shirt! Your walk support expands Amnion's ministry outreach!

"What if it rains on Walk day?"
We'll be walking rain or shine, so bring your rain gear. You can walk on your own or on a different day that week! Just send your sponsor form to Amnion within a week of the event.

"What if I can't walk on the day of the Walk For Life?"
No problem. Walkers who can't be there on Walk day simply walk on their own and mail in their sponsor forms to Amnion CPC within a week of the Walk.
